At Bait Daddy, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Because we sell a mix of live bait, frozen bait, tackle, and wildlife feed, our return policy varies by product type. Please read the sections below to understand what can and cannot be returned.
1. Live Bait (Minnows, Worms, etc.)
Because live bait is a perishable, time‑sensitive product, all sales are final.
However, we stand behind the quality of what we ship. If your live bait arrives dead on arrival (DOA):

You must contact us within 2 hours of delivery

Include clear photos of the unopened bag or container

We will offer store credit or a replacement, depending on availability
We cannot issue refunds or replacements if:

The package was left outside too long

The customer provided an incorrect address

Weather conditions affected survival

The bait was opened before photos were taken
2. Frozen Bait
Frozen bait is also perishable, but we allow limited returns.
We will replace or credit your order if:

The product arrives thawed, spoiled, or damaged

You contact us within 24 hours of delivery

You provide photos of the condition
We cannot accept returns of frozen bait for:

Preference changes

Over-ordering

Improper storage after delivery
3. Tackle (Hooks, Lures, Gear, Accessories)
Tackle items may be returned if:

They are unused, unopened, and in original packaging

You contact us within 14 days of delivery

You provide proof of purchase
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
We do not accept returns on:

4. Wildlife Feed (Corn, Blocks, Seed, etc.)
Wildlife feed can be returned if:

The bag is unopened and in original condition

You contact us within 7 days of delivery
We cannot accept returns on:

Opened bags

Feed damaged by weather, pests, or improper storage

Bulk orders over 50 lbs unless defective
If feed arrives damaged or contaminated:

We will replace the product or issue store credit
5. Wrong or Damaged Items
If we send the wrong item or something arrives damaged:

We will send a replacement at no cost to you
